Activist Charged With Stalking Professor

DETROIT, Mich. — An animal rights activist was charged with stalking a Wayne State University professor who conducts research on shelter dogs.

Camille Marino was arrested Wednesday after she chained herself to the doors of the undergraduate library on campus, the Detroit Free Press reports. She was previously banned from campus for several blog posts in which she described how Professor Donal O’Leary should die and included his home address and phone number.

O’Leary was granted a personal protection order from Wayne County courts ordering Marino to remove his personal information from her blog posts.
