An anti-bullying proposal is gaining more steam before his hits the Legislature this year. After being rejected twice – in 2006 and 2007 – a special committee of state lawmakers, school district employees and police are working to enact the bill.
The committee suggests schools follow state anti-bullying guidelines or come up with their own policies.
School groups have been supportive of requiring anti-bullying plans, allowing Wisconsin to join 36 other states that have such provisions, according to the Associated Press.
