2009 NECUSA Conference Starts June 14


The Northeast Colleges and Universities Security Association (NECUSA) announces that its 2009 annual conference will be held at the Mystic Marriott in Groton, Conn., June 14-17. This year’s conference will be co-hosted by Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Conn., and Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn.

Topics covered will include:

  • UCR/NIBRS reporting and how they impact the Clery Act
  • Clery updates
  • Violence on campus and how it impacts differing constituent groups
  • Violence against women
  • Hostage situations
  • College presidents’ perspectives on campus violence
