200 Chicago Public Schools to Receive Security Cameras Linked to Police

Published: March 10, 2008

CHICAGO – Mayor Richard M. Daley announced on Mar. 6 a plan to have 4,500 security cameras installed in 200 Chicago public schools.

The cameras, which cost the city $418,000, were paid with homeland security funds from the federal government.
