DAYTON, Ohio — The State Controlling Board announced on April 11 that it approved and funded projects at Wright State University and Central State University. The two colleges have received nearly $350,000 to fund safety upgrades on their campuses.
Wright State University was approved for $322,500 to upgrade its campus elevators, the Dayton Business Journal reports. A study conducted from 2003 to 2004 found deficiencies in as many as 35 elevators on campus.
Central State University received $25,000 for projects related to HVAC and security systems renovations.
