NORFOLK, Va. — Two Old Dominion University (ODU) students were arrested for their roles in two alleged sexual assaults that police said took place on campus Sunday.
Reid Evans, a member of the ODU football team, and Jack Ly both face two counts of rape, sodomy, abduction, conspiracy to commit sodomy and conspiracy to commit abduction, WAVY.com reports. The two victims, who are not ODU students, believe they were targeted with date rape drugs and told police they couldn’t remember parts of the night.
The university issued a campus-wide E-mail alert about the assaults around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night.
