1 Dead in Oregon Hospital Parking Lot Shooting
A man has been arrested for fatally shooting another male in the parking lot of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center.
ONTARIO, Ore. – Juan Carlos Lopez, 24, has been arrested for fatally shooting 42-year-old Dale Joseph Wright in the parking lot of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning, reports the Argus Observer.
After the shooting, a hospital security officer saw Lopez back his car over Wright’s body and then flee the scene. Police apprehended Lopez about three hours later without incident. He’s been charged with murder.
The suspect and the victim knew each other and arrived at the medical facility together.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
