19-Year-Old Falls From Window of University Event Center, Dies

PITTSBURGH — A man fell to his death during a concert at Peterson Events Center on the University of Pittsburgh campus on Wednesday. He fell approximately 30 feet.

Joseph Kimutis, 19, attended the event with his father, MSNBC reports. He was taken to a hospital after he smashed through a double-paned window at the center and fell, plunging to a sloped hillside next to a cement walkway.

Police are investigating a report that Kimutis crouched in a football stance, yelled “hike” and charged at the window. Toxicology reports are pending.
