17 N.C. College Police Chiefs Oppose Guns on Campus Bill

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina Bill 937, which would allow people to carry concealed weapons to campus events, including tailgate parties, is getting strong opposition from the state’s campus police chiefs.

On Tuesday, 17 college police chiefs went to the state capitol to rally against the bill, reports WLOS.

Lawmakers are scheduled to vote on the measure today.
