Clark University Emergency Medical Squad
From left to right, Marc Benoit, Nicholas Gregory-Bernstein, Alexander Andersen, Jason Smith and Nicholas Foresti were part of Clark’s student emergency response team on Sept. 24, 2009, when they responded to a man who had gone into cardiac arrest on campus.
The five student volunteers revived the 83-year-old man with a combination of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and an automated external defibrillator. Pretty impressive for students!
“I was dead for a minute and all of a sudden, bam, boom, I was back,” Arnold J. Yodice, 83, said. “They were smart kids, very smart kids.”
