1 Killed, 4 Others Injured in Stabbing Attack at Texas Hospital

LONGVIEW,  Texas — A nurse was stabbed to death and four others were also stabbed at the Ambulatory Surgical Center of Good Shepherd Medical Center Tuesday morning.

The suspect, Kyron Rayshawn Templeton, 22, has been charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault, reports the Associated Press.

Police officials did not indicate what led up to the attack. Prior to the incident, the suspect was at the hospital with his mother.

The slain nurse has been identified as Gail Sandidge.
