Trigon Wireless Emergency Telephone Units

Trigon Electronics Inc. of Corona, Calif., introduces wireless campus emergency broadcasting through the company’s Telalarm emergency broadcast telephone units. The system uses VoIP as the primary broadband protocol and broadband RF transceivers as the primary wireless carrier.

The system is capable of injecting VoIP onto the Internet and coupling the broadcast tower telephone into the Internet through wireless hot zones and/or Wi-Fi “hot spots.”

The emergency broadcast telephone units are an adaptation of Trigon’s MAX Tower emergency telephone units that have been fitted with public address horns powered by a public address amplifier.
