The 2018 Campus Safety Salary and Benefits Survey
In general, chiefs/directors that run departments with more employees get paid more. The exceptions to this finding, however, are the chiefs/directors responsible for departments with 51 to 75 employees. Their median salary is $115,000, while those who run departments with more than 75 employees make a median salary of only $105,000 per year.
