How to Submit a Winning Campus Safety Director of the Year Nomination
To increase your chances of success, it is critical to prepare a detailed and compelling submission. We recommend reading our article on writing a winning Director of the Year nomination, where past judges share what they look for in a submission.
Follow these four steps for a strong nomination:
- Describe Accomplishments: Provide a clear and detailed account of the nominee’s achievements. Submissions should not exceed 15 pages.
- Provide Specific Examples: Use concrete examples that demonstrate the nominee’s outstanding performance and leadership.
- Include Quantifiable Data: Whenever possible, support the nomination with measurable data that highlights the nominee’s impact.
- Submit All Materials on Time: Ensure all documents, including endorsements from colleagues, are submitted by the deadline.
