Thinking Beyond the Pandemic: Planning for Fall 2021 After-School Activities
A distinguished panel of experts will address planning considerations for the preparation of returning to school next fall. The group will center their discussion on the pandemic impact of mental health, managing activities, safety and security and the student athlete and coach’s welfare.

In this webcast, presented by Campus Safety, Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX), and High School Federation, a distinguished panel of experts will address planning considerations for the preparation of returning to school next fall. The group will center their discussion on the pandemic impact of mental health, managing activities, safety and security and the student athlete and coach’s welfare.
In addition, the panelists will discuss key learnings, questions, and decisions that must be made during the “Great Wait” caused by the pandemic to safely return to interscholastic athletics and club activities. The panel will discuss key recommendations to guide school districts and administrators as they plan for fall events. Their recommendations and guidelines are based on discussions with health experts, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
