Since Oct. 6, there have been 528 total cases diagnosed at the school. During the week of Nov. 8 alone, 313 cases were identified.
Flu vaccinations will be required for all children who are attending child care, pre-school, kindergarten, K-12, and institutions of higher education.

This flu season also started the earliest in 15 years, with an influx of flu-like sicknesses seen as early as October in parts of the South.
The CDC says that flu activity remains high, but hospitalizations and deaths are not high at this point in the season.
