The purpose of a lockdown, emergency, police, panic, or other push button is to help reduce the risk of danger to those on the site, to signal a critical incident, alert law enforcement of a threat, or to safely secure the operation of a public building under duress.
The multipurpose push buttons are available in red, green, yellow, white, blue, or orange, with several button activation choices (including weather-resistant), and standard or custom labeling (in virtually any language). Optional illumination allows users to easily find the push button when lights are turned off for safety reasons or while in a dark corridor. The 12-24 volt LED insert illuminates red, green, or white. Choose to illuminate as a status light (always on) or select a color change when activated (i.e., glows green then changes to red when activated).
