Jeffrey Yarbrough

Congratulations to Round Rock Independent School District Police Department Chief Jeffrey Yarbrough for being one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Created from scratch the Round Rock ISD Police Department, incorporating school safety, racial equity, behavioral health and student advocacy as its four pillars.
  • Oversaw a $36 million safety and security bond project.
  • Developed a plan that eliminates historical gaps in coverage caused when SROs from the law enforcement partner agencies would leave assigned campuses to respond to calls at other campuses.
