ASSA ABLOY’s HES 1006CAS: One Box, Complete Solution

The dual interlocking plunger design and heavy duty stainless steel construction of the 1006 series enables it to exceed every standard developed for electric strikes.

Job sites are full of surprises. The 1006CAS from ASSA ABLOY is the complete one box solution used for continuous recapture of a 1” deadbolt for ANSI 4-7/8″ strike plates replacing the historic A, AD, AM, T and TD faceplate options. Additionally, the new CAS option takes the place of ‘Mode 3’ of the 1006CS and 1006CDB Complete Pacs, which no longer support continuous deadbolt recapture.

  • Mode 3: Normally extended deadbolt. Latchbolt and deadbolt are released by a single keeper. The keeper is held open to recapture the latchbolt and deadbolt when the door is closed.

The current 1006CS, 1006CDB and DB-630 kits will support the following modes of operation and include the following faceplate options:

  • Mode 1: Night latch function. The deadbolt is retracted during traffic hours. The latchbolt is released by the keeper and keeper returns to the locked position.
  • Mode 2: Lockout function. The electric strike will not release if the deadbolt is extended.
  • Faceplates & Brackets: ND, NM, H and HT

Any new orders of the A, AD, AM, T and TD faceplate options will be replaced with the 7018058.002 kit, only available in a 630 finish. The 7018058.002 kit is the previous DB-630 faceplate kit that includes the following items:

  • ND-630 faceplate
  • NM-630 faceplate
  • Bracket: A option
  • Bracket: T option
  • Bracket: H option
  • Bracket: HT option

When ordering please note that the A, AD, AM, T and TD faceplate options are subject to the following dates:

  • End of Sales – June 20th, 2017
  • Final scheduled ship date – January 31st, 2018 (for 7018058.002 faceplate kit)
