Umbo Computer Vision, a provider of autonomous video security technology, announces the release of its SmartBullet camera.
The Umbo SmartBullet features real-time video security capabilities and AI-based technology to enable facility managers at businesses in high crime areas, critical infrastructure installations, school campuses, transportation systems and other public venues to record, track and receive more accurate notifications, according to the company.
The company says its high rate of accuracy can alert security managers when intruders have entered a property, climbed a wall, crossed a border, etc.
“SmartBullet is the most powerful bullet camera we’ve ever built. With its multiple modularized add-ons, it can deliver accurate real-time event awareness across a full range of environments, including at night, in excess sunshine and/or rain. This is a value-add for integrators because they’re able to use the camera for the unique situations and installations,” says Shawn Guan, CEO at Umbo Computer Vision.
The SmartBullet integrates with Umbo SmartCloud, the company’s Cloud management system, and Umbo Light, its neural network-based artificial intelligence.
