neXus also supports discreet wireless duress buttons worn by staff, allowing them to instantly signal for help in any type of emergency. These alerts can be configured to trigger specific actions, such as alerting security or leadership, locking doors, or launching mass notifications.
Importantly, neXus meets the requirements of Alyssa’s Law, which mandates that public schools implement silent panic alarm systems linked directly to law enforcement. By providing immediate, location-specific alerts, plus the interactive 3D facility map, neXus helps schools comply with this law while giving staff a greater sense of security throughout the day.
