In an important women’s basketball game between Southern University and Texas Southern University, a fight broke out between players that soon erupted into a bench-clearing brawl involving fans.

The two schools, which were competing for the Southwestern Athletic Conference regular season title Saturday night, began fighting after Texas Southern’s Miracle Davis took a charge midway through the second half. The game was cancelled after the fight and ruled a double forfeit.
