HOUSTON — Video Insight, a developer of enterprise IP video surveillance software, will donate more than $250,000 to schools and colleges nationwide through its new School Security Grant program.
Developed to help campuses prevent and combat violence, the program will supply select schools with hardware and software to implement a video surveillance solution. Each grant recipient will receive the following:
- 48 Video Insight Video Management Software (VMS) licenses
- 16 IP video surveillance cameras
- 1 video encoder
- 10 years of the Video Insight Software Upgrade Program (SUP)
- 1 year of Customer Assurance Program (CAP)
“In this day and age of continued violent acts and threats on campuses, every school and college needs a video surveillance solution as part of an overall security plan,” says Video Insight Chief Executive Officer Robert Shaw. “The Video Insight School Security Grant is designed to help those schools that lack funds implement a video surveillance solution. The safety of students and teachers should never be compromised because of budgetary constraints.”
