Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Vicon Industries Inc. introduces the Surveyor-Mini, a vandal-proof IP-66 (weather-proof) network pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera dome capable of day and night video imaging with a 10X optical zoom.
The camera offers either M-JPEG or H.264 compression. H.264 allows the unit to deliver high-quality video while minimizing impact on the network. All models provide 360-degree pan/tilt rotation and 64 programmable presets.
