Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Vicon Industries Inc. introduces the NVR Shadow, a network video recorder preloaded with ViconNet video management software. The product includes up to 6.5TB of usable, internal storage space in RAID-5 configuration.
The NVR Shadow provides extended storage through eight hot-swappable drives for video database storage that are accessible from the front of the unit. The operating system drive is not part of the RAID array and is located internally. The product is offered with three levels of usable storage space: 1.6TB, 3.3TB or 6.5TB.
