BLACKSBURG, Va. – Police are saying that Virginia Tech shooter Seung Hui Cho possibly conducted a practice run two days before he carried out the massacre that resulted in the killings of 32 people and suicide of Cho.
According to the Associated Press, on April 14 witnesses claim to have seen a suspicious male wearing a hooded sweatshirt in Norris Hall. Authorities then discovered the exits to the building had been chained closed.
Two days later, on April 16, Cho chained all of the doors to the same facility before shooting 30 students and teachers.
The tragedy began more than two hours earlier when Cho shot two people at the opposite end of the 2,600-acre Virginia Tech campus at a co-ed dormitory. He continued his rampage at Norris Hall, an engineering building about a half-mile away.
