Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland, pulled a poster promoting password security on campus after being accused of victim blaming. The poster read “Bet Jennifer Lawrence wishes she’d used a StR0nG_Pas5w0Rd%,” alluding to a recent hacking scandal in which nude photos of the actress were posted online.
After numerous students spoke out against the campaign, the university removed the posters, reports The Herald. Lawrence, along with Rihanna, Kate Upton, Selena Gomez and Kim Kardashian were among those whose photos were allegedly stolen from their iCloud accounts in September.
On its Twitter account, the university posted: “The posters are being removed now. They should not have produced and we are looking into how this happened.”
