UCLA Area Experiences 4 Sexual Batteries in 2 Weeks

LOS ANGELES – Another sexual assault occurred near the UCLA campus on Jan. 7. This is the fourth sexual battery in the Westwood, Calif., area surrounding the university in the past three weeks.

During the Jan. 7 attack, a female student was approached from behind as she retrieved some belongings from her car. According to police, the suspect grabbed the student’s breasts and then ran away.

Three similar attacks occurred on Dec. 27 and Jan. 6 and appear to involve the same perpetrator. The suspect is described as a 22-year-old white male with dark curly hair, who is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 11 inches in height. There are no leads at the present time.
