U of Tenn. Chattanooga Hosts Emergency Management Conference

The second annual Best Practices in Higher Ed Emergency Management Conference will be held March 11-13 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Kicking off the event will be a keynote from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Safe and Healthy Students. Conference seminars will cover training, communications, technology, continuity, preparedness, response, operations, grant writing, funding, executive level management, policy, mitigation, community partnerships and more.

Speakers from a wide variety of colleges, universities and other organizations will be featured. Those institutions and organizations include Virginia Tech, Binghamton University, University of Colorado Boulder, Kennesaw State, Witt O’Briens, Westmont College, University of Houston, American Red Cross, University of Maryland, Western Kentucky University, University of Rhode Island, All Clear Emergency Management Group, University of Connecticut, EMAP Accreditation Program, Jacksonville State, University of Georgia, Florida State, Blackboard Connect and FEMA.
