U. of Massachusetts Installs 60 New Cameras

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts installed 60 additional cameras on their campus, according to the Daily Collegian.

The university now has more than 500 cameras installed in residence halls, dining commons and other buildings. The footage taken from the new security upgrades will be monitored by UMPD officials.

Should an incident occur, still shots from the cameras will be posted on the campus police Web site, allowing those who have any information on the incident to contact the proper authorities.
