PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A University of Georgia police officer who drowned in Lake Sinclair at midnight on Sept. 4 will be honored on Sept. 11 in a “celebration of life service.”
Officer Tyler Harris was found underwater by family members after going for a swim, the Atlantic Journal-Constitution reports. They were unable to revive him.
Results of an autopsy are pending.
