U. of Ariz. E-mail List Compromised

TUCSON, Ariz. — The employee mailing list at the University of Arizona was compromised on August 3, and a disturbing photo was sent to all recipients.

The university is stringent about computer security, requiring students to change their passwords annually, the Tucson Citizen reports. Students must choose a new “passphrase” that does not at all resemble their previous one.

Earlier this summer, Arizona law enforcement computers were hacked by the hacker group Lulzsec.
