Tyco Security Products, a security and fire company, introduced the iSTAR Ultra SE and announced its cloud-based visitor management system’s integration with the C•CURE 9000 Security and Event Management System. iSTAR Ultra SE, a special edition iSTAR Ultra door controller SV3, is supported by up to 32 card readers and adds a ‘Pro mode’ to traditional iSTAR Ultra features. The new Pro mode ensures compatibility with all Software House systems, according to the company.
The iSTAR Ultra SE also supports hardwired access control doors and wireless lock sets. The visitor management integration allows officers to pre-register visitors and track their movement between campus facilities with one interface. Operators can track visitor arrival, watch lists, receive instructions and other security notifications via email using the integration.
