A teenage suspect in connection with a Texas Southern University shooting turned himself into police Aug. 15. The July 22 shooting left eight people wounded.
Albert Walker Mondane, 19, was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, according to the Houston Chronicle. He remains at Harris County Jail on $30,000 bail.
Mondane allegedly shot into a crowd of people that had gathered on the campus in support of a community service event. According to reports, none of the victims were seriously hurt.
