Temple U. Police Officers Deliver Baby

Temple University Police Officer Justin Busam, with the help of his partner Chris DeRose, delivered a baby Aug. 20 while patrolling the streets around the campus.

The baby girl came quickly —in approximately three minutes, claims the officers. Named Aamenee Young, she weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at birth, reports the Delaware County News Network.

Busam is a trained EMT who delivered the child in the back seat of her parents’ Cadillac.
