Teen Allegedly Attacks Campus Guard

ULLIN, Ill.

A 19-year-old has been charged with aggravated battery after allegedly attacking a southern Illinois college security guard.

Daniel Brown Jr. was apparently caught on video surveillance with two other suspects – a 16-year old and 15-year old – waiting for the Shawnee Community College guard to return to his office, according to the Chicago Tribune. When the guard returned, the suspects allegedly attacked him from behind and fled.

The guard was treated at a local hospital.
