Teacher Suspended for Insulting Students in Blog
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — A teacher at Central Bucks East High School was suspended with pay after it was discovered that she was blogging about students and administrators. Natalie Munroe blogged under the name “Natalie M” and did not identify the name of the school in her posts.
Munroe described her students as “rude,” “lazy” and “disengaged,” ABC News reports. She says that her descriptions were caricatures of students she has had over the years and did not reference any student in particular.
Munroe’s lawyer told the news source that the teacher’s first amendment right is being violated.
