INDIANAPOLIS – A Ball State University study of more than 1,600 undergrads at 15 Midwestern colleges found that more than three in four — 78% — opposed concealed handguns on campus. Seventy nine percent said they would not feel safe if faculty, students and visitors carried these weapons.
Additionally, 66% did not feel that carrying a gun would make them less likely to be troubled by others, reports BSU Daily News.
The study was originally published in the Journal of American College Health.
