Students Protest Shaw U. Dorm Conditions

On Dec. 4, more than 100 students from Shaw University conducted a silent protest in the lobby of the North Carolina university president’s office.

They object to poor conditions at the dorms, which, according to the Daily Advance, include overcrowding, poor sanitation and broken toilets.
