SAN FRANCISCO — Officials at San Francisco State University (SFSU) had to replace locks for roughly 3,000 dormitory doors throughout two housing units after two master keys were reported stolen.
On Oct. 28, officials posted fliers in the University Park North and the Towers at Centennial Square residence halls, describing the loss of the master keys due to a break-in. By Nov. 2, the university re-keyed all the affected apartments. Additionally, the university hired outside security and increased campus police patrols as the locks were changed, Golden Gate Express reports.
