Stanley Security, a manufacturer and integrator of security solutions across a wide range of industries, releases Best Shelter, a responsive lockdown solution designed for educational K-12, business and healthcare environments. The multi-purpose Shelter fob by Best allows for quick communication with the Shelter wireless system to initiate lockdowns and notify third parties. The fob can lockdown one door, a single hallway or an entire building. After the fob initiates the lockdown, the Best Shelter 9KX cylindrical lockset receives the command and locks the doors.
Additionally, the gateway doesn’t require internet connection to initiate a lockdown, meaning the network doesn’t have to be operational in critical moments. The gateway can be paired with eight repeaters to extend the signal range throughout the building.
