Staff Caught on Tape Yelling at Autistic Boy

CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Employees at Horace Mann Elementary School who were recorded shouting at a 10-year-old autistic boy are no longer employed by the district.

Stuart Chaifetz released excerpts Monday of the recording taken by a digital tape recorder he gave to his son, USA Today reports. Chaifetz said the recording depicts a teacher and aide bullying his son to the point of tears.

The classroom aide on the tapes was fired after the recording was given to district administrators, Chaifetz said in a YouTube video. However, a teacher and another aide were transferred.
