Amityville, N.Y.-based Speco Technologies introduces the mobile four channel, H.264, pentaplex DVR. The product allows for capturing and delivering real-time video through a compact surveillance system in moving vehicles. When used with a separately purchased Verizon USB Aircard, the DVR can be accessed remotely allowing the video and GPS information to be available to authorized viewers.
The mobile DVR includes one 2GB SD card, remote control, mounting hardware, CMS software and vehicle cigarette lighter adaptor. Both models are available with a GPS module and antenna which tracks the vehicles location on a real time basis.
