MUNCIE, Ind.— Three Ball State sorority members and another woman are accused of vandalizing a student’s car over an allegation of hazing.
A student filed a report with campus police in December claiming that she was hazed while trying to join Zeta Phi Beta, and that members of the sorority and their friends had harassed her, RTV 6 reports. When the members learned where the student lived in May, they reportedly planned to vandalize her car.
The sorority sisters smeared a car with dog feces and nail polish remover, and keyed a smiley face and profanity into the paint, according to police. When they discovered it was actually the car of a 24-year-old male student, they returned and vandalized their accuser’s car in the same fashion.
