A New Mexico security company lost its contract with a hospital after one of its officers made controversial comments on Facebook.
The officer, who worked for the security company VSM Private Patrol, had posted a message on Facebook that read “Feeling impatient at Presbyterian Kaseman hospital.” The post referred to an Albuquerque hospital that provides therapy to children and adults in a Behavioral Health Center.

The officer said his job involved watching children who he called demons, according to koat.com. “It’s a behavior health ward … these kids are really, really bad-tempered.” When a friend commented suggesting the officer give them Nyquil, he replied “I wish I could.”
The hospital released a statement informing the public that it had cut ties with VSM Private Patrol because the Facebook comments “in no way reflect Presbyterian values.”
VSM fired the man as soon as the company’s owner saw the comments.
