Security Officers Will Possibly Lose Jobs at Tennessee Hospital

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Hospital officials at Metro General Hospital are considering laying off nearly 20 security officers in order to cut back on the budget.

Officials have confirmed sending out requests for proposals for security contractors. Currently, authorities are looking a Wackenhut, a company that provides security throughout the city.

By downsizing, officials believe money will be saved by not having to pay contract security officers benefits.
