Schools Purchase ‘Active Shooter’ Video to Teach Students Defense

Students at Palm Beach Community College and Palm Beach Atlantic University are learning how to protect themselves from potential campus shootings through a new instructional video.

The schools have purchased licenses to show the training videos on active shooter situations. The videos are intended to teach students how to act both offensively and defensively during a campus shooting situation.

About 650 colleges and universities nationwide have purchased licenses to show the center’s videos, according to the Palm Beach Post.
