Schools Quickly Move to Upgrade Campus Security

In response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting Dec. 14, schools and school districts around the nation are evaluating security on their campuses. Here are some of the top headlines for Dec. 21.

Gaston alliance formed to address school safety

  • The Gaston County Board of Education and county commissioners are joining in a partnership to make school safety a community priority.
