School Drive-By Shooting Victim Dies
MEMPHIS — A 17-year-old wounded in a drive-by shooting outside Central High School on Jan. 13 has died, according to police. Terrence Wilkins was taken off life support on Jan. 15.
Wilkins was shot shortly after a basketball game as the school ended, News Channel 3 reports. Memphis City Schools planned to have grief counselors on site Jan. 17.
Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong released a statement that said the department is investigating the incident.
