Based in Suwanee, Ga., Kenwood USA unveils the TKR-7400P/8400P VHF and UHF P25 conventional repeater system. The system consists of the core TKR-740/840 repeater unit and a TKR-C40 P25 controller. The TKR-C40 controller is capable of supporting up to four conventional P25 channels with dual mode operations delivering P25 digital communications as well as continued service to analog operations.
The TKR-C40 P25 controller operates with P25 FDMA common air interface in single-site or multi-site conventional system configurations.
